My opponent has x2 CV's in repair at TRUK. He had them on pier-side repair. He has now changed them them Ready. However they have been "greyed" out for a week! It says in red 1#day. Shows Readiness Normal. They are fine except 1 major repair pt. Grey out says 2days hmmmm What gives?
Thanks guys.

Could be a couple of things he will have to check.
1) If they did an upgrade they will not come ready until the minimum upgrade has passed, even if they already repaired all damage. Sometimes a player doesn't realize that a ship was set to 'Yes' for 'Upgrade'.
2) If a ship has damage which that particular port cannot repair, it will repair everything is can, then show days remaining as "1#" in red (indicating it cannot make any further repairs). Anytime a ship is in another repair more and you change it to "Readiness", it will undergo a three-day delay before becoming ready. This can be seen in a mouse-over pop-up.
The only time that a ship changes over right away is when it has been completely repaired.

If it started an upgrade it will have the label 'refit' near the far left after it's name when examining it in the 'Manage Ships Under Repair' interface.
But, you shouldn't be able to move it to ready under those conditions.
Repair times are estimates and many times when I have seen 1 day left it has actually taken 2-3 days to complete that last 'day' of repairs.
However, this has always had to do with the damage actually being repaired.
If you choose to cut short repairs by manually moving the ship to 'ready' AFAIK the 3 day delay for the move is a set number, especially if the last point of repair you are giving up on by implementing the manual move is major damage that can't be repaired in 'ready' status.
Something sounds wrong, but more info and likely Alfred chiming in may be what it takes to get to the bottom of it.
