Esoteric Cav Corps Creation Question

So if I have 3 cav divs with 3 different HQs how does the program decide which HQ the corp is created in?
I can change the divs all to the HQ I want them to belong to first but say 2 belong to HQ and 1 to HQb?
Trying to save APs - desperate times.

I forget when it changed (1.08?) but you now need to have all the units you intend to combine reporting to the same HQ ... afraid you've got to pay the price [;)]

and you have to wait until Mtn Cav Divs are renamed (in 1942) before you can merge them into Cav Corps. Took me a while to figure that one out

Ah very useful to know. This rule seems to make little sense? I get the logic of all in same HQ rule.
Adding Morvael to my list of sabateurs, ideologic enemies and miscreants as he is clearly trying to ruin my winter offensive.

not sure this is right, I've got them into cav corps in December ...
its some types of rifle brigade you need to watch out for
