I have 2 friendly units stacked together. Each have a defence value of 9.
Ignoring terrain for the moment, what is the defence value of the stack?

I may be Captain Obvious, but I would say 18 (allowing for rounding factors, though, it might be 17 or 19). You should be able to tell in the Attack Planner, if you can access it for the location.

How about a number hovering over the top of every friendly stack on the map.

Sure. What should it show? Defensive value? Offensive value? Artillery value? Anti personnel value? Anti tank value? After or before terrain or both?

That's actually planned. Wasn't big enough to mention in the other board.

You press a key and it cycles through each of those things.
The defence value would be after terrain.
The attack value would be before terrain because you would not attack onto the hex you occupy.
