I searched - so sorry if this is a repeat.

Suggestion: During play - it would be a great tool to be able to create a text box on the map. This could be used to identify an area, a strategic plan, a reminder etc.

Would this be difficult to put into future releases?

There is a similar suggestion in the 'gameplay feature request poll' sticky thread, you can vote for it there and the devs will take it under consideration.

In the mean time, I sometimes use reference points as labels. After placing the ref point press ctrl+R to rename. As long as the ref point is selected the name will display [:)]
