While running the first tutorial a dialog pops up with the message 'A new guard stack cannot be created'. Closing the dialog exits the game.

Version? Universe?

Steam or stand alone?

Is there a crash log in "Documents - My Games - Distant Worlds Universe (assuming that is your version)?

If so, paste the contents here.

Stand alone
No crash log in that directory. The game exited cleanly when error dialog closed.

I tried running the introductory game with no problem.
