My P-47D-5 ceased production but no P-47D-15s have shown up yet so far. (It's October 43.)

Was running the .48beta, and now .48

Any ideas

There's a delay between production start and start of operational use. They had to be shipped to Europe first.

But wouldn't the flow continue as the -5 on the water would still be sent??

Game-wise deliveries are instant but usage is prohibited until the block is lifted. Then all amassed in pool become usable.
Not the best solution but the best possible within the game engine limits.

Sound ridiculous, there should be a constant flow until the new model arrives, in this case they even sent field mod kits to upgrade the -5 & -10 to -15 standard.

Its another poorly thought through solution.

On the other hand you are free to switch from outdated a/c like P-39/-40 to high performance P-47/P-51 without having to spend some months for familiarization/retraining onto the new a/c.
