I'm playing a multi-player game (playing Allies) and a few curious things occurred:

1. The CP attacked Greece, which then became my ally. After Athens fell, Greece surrendered. I had a British fleet in the Crete port. After the surrender, the British fleet could not move out...I even tried DOW vs Greece and still nothing. Later it happened again in Brest after the French surrendered...I had a British fleet there.

2. A German convoy going through the English Channel...I attack it with a British Zep and a neutral (surrendered) France (fighter) defend the German convoy.

I assume these are bugs, since it would be crazy for any of this to be allowed.

1. I assume the locked fleets were battle fleets. This is odd, usually battle fleets sortie upon port capture. Only thing I can figure is make sure you are in latest patch? I know, not much help.

2. Have never seen this. Was this battle, perhaps, on French territory. Never-the-less, quite an interesting anomaly.

I have the latest patch.

The fleet in Crete was a Pre-Dred, and the fleet in Brest was a Dred.

The battle was in the middle of the western English Channel. There was no possibility for any CP fighter to intercept, and when it happened, a French fighter within range lit up in France.
