Hi,

I purchased UV yesterday from this site (digital download).

I haven't been able to play the game because the text becomes increasingly distorted and unreadable when selecting different menus and stats. I am using the 1080 x 720 resolution. My initial thought was that problem may be overstretching in full screen mode. However I can't find a way of running it in windowed mode.

My specs: 27" (1980 x 1080) monitor & Windows 7 Professional.

Eureka I found a solution!

On a hunch, I tried the workaround for reducing lag when running UV on Windows 8.

The three programs together worked a treat. There is no distortion of the text anymore.

Looking forward to many hours of UV fun. I played umpteen hours of Gary Grigsby's superb Pacific War back in the 1990's and the Matrix version from 2002 to 2003.

After that the next logical step will be WItP.
