Build points not saviing

Playing with saved build points option and for a turn that worked. However, now when I end production with build points left, the game cycles to the next major power without bringing up the saved build points screen.

Any saved are part of the next turn builds. If you don't save some again, then you will not get the screen.

Could that be it?

Could you post a saved game from the start of the production phase? That will lets find out if there really is a bug or not.

At one point there was an intermittent bug where saved build points were lost, but that was squashed long ago.

With saved oil no longer working, (the oil does not get placed) in the latest game version, the BP save and oil save might be a part of the problems due to the new Delphi compiler.

I have also found some weird stuff with the saved build-points
1. If you have many buildpoints in a single hex, only 1 becomes available during production.
2. If you click on the "reclaim build-point" or something similar, when you place the build points on the map, you get one more to place, but it does not remove the one it is supposed to, IE infinite amount of build points!

confirmed.. there is a bug here

for me the saving of BP have been moved to after all major powers have produced.

it used to happen after that major power end production

1.: that's according to the rules:

RAW:

In a later production step, you can remove those build points from
the map and add them to your build point total. You may spend any
number saved at your capital. No more than 1 saved build point may
be consumed per turn from each other city, useable factory and port
(e.g. you can spend 5 saved build points on production in New York
and unlimited in Moscow each turn).


2.: that sounds like a bug to me. Any chance of a gamesave for that one?

2. No, unfortunately not. I did a work-around for the next turn where i just scrapped the fake build-points. It was global war, and on the allied side. I saved a 3-4 build points in a hex, then next turn I decresed the amount in that city. The original city still had the same amount, but I could place new ones in new cities as well, giving me endless build points for the next phase :)

I fixed the infinite BP bug for version 2.0.1.1.
