So, I noticed that in some scenarios, even before I moved a single unit in the first turn, with me playing before the PO, the "air briefing" show some aircraft destroyed, sometimes a lot.. what is that mean?. I think I remember reading something on that, but couldn't find anything with the forum search.

There is an Air phase at the beginning of each turn. If you watch the bottom of the screen you may see the results flash by [quickly].
