How do the difficulty modifiers and the % replacement rate correlate to each other?

Difficulty modifers effect the starting troop strength and replacement rates. The first column is weakest force / highest difficulty, the fifth is strongest force / lowest difficulty
Vehicle Replacement % Allies Troop Replace % Allies Vehicle Replacement % Axis Troop Replace % Axis

The desired replacements are the total number of men / vehicles a unit is short. This is multiplied by the global difficulty modifier, and then by the replacement rate %, to get the final total. So if a unit is down 200 men and you're playing 'Elite' difficulty (50% difficulty modifier) and your troop replacement rate is 5%, you will get 200 * 0.5 * 0.05 = 5 men as replacements.

Thanks for the answers, what does unit means in this case?

Is this by BG, company, platoon, squad? I suspect BG since its on the forcepool data and you making reference to a unit needing 200 men, but would like confirmation please, thanks.
