Does anyone know where the change log is for this? The last one I can find is for the 1.04 version so it would be nice to understand what happened in 1.05/6 [:)]

Here is the 'readme' embedded in the v1.05 folder, most of the changes seem to have been an effort to improve stability.

v1.06 does not contain an updated 'readme', but there are some changes/errors visible.

The Multiplayer option has gone from the start screen.

The 'armor in city' combat odds modifier (defence reduced by 50%) is being applied whenever an armoured unit is attacked, even when the armoured unit is not in a city. There is a partial fix, which is to neuralise the 'armor in city' modifier in the scenario consts.ini file, so that it has no effect, but of course you then lose the effect when the armoured unit is actually in a city.

The 'unit purchase panel' and 'unit information panel' now show divisions as corps and corps as armies, which is irritating, but not vital as you still have the unit name, which can show the correct unit type in the text.

(the colour image is mine, v1.06 still uses the stock unit images)

There also is a new map overlay, but as with the air superiority overlay introduced in v1.04/5, it appears with no explanation, but it looks like a supply coverage display.

The new overlay includes changes to the allocation of the 'F' hotkeys, otherwise the same features are available.

v1.06 with the 'armor in city' modifier error and still with the broken 'terrain' combat odds modifiers (broken since v1.01) is heavily limited without correction, however, v1.06 is certainly more stable and I have had no CTDs, but I don't know what else might be missing. I am staying with v1.05, which at least has a full set of combat odds modifiers, now that I have found a fix for the broken terrain modifiers.

A possible problem with STEAM v1.06, for me, is that I am using a lot of mods, corrections and adjustments and the STEAM version might update without me knowing and wipe out some of these changes, I need to keep control of the game. [:)]
