Hi folks, I just downloaded the game but am unable to play it. I hit the play game button from the initial screen, then play scenario, then choose a scenario and hit OK. Then I get taken back to the initial screen and go around in circles. The same thing happens if I try a campaign or PBEM etc.

If you would, please, now try this experiment:

[*]Open a Command Prompt window.
[*]cd to your Middle East install folder.
[*]Using the dir command, verify that you have me.exe
[*]Try launching the game from the Command Prompt command line:

me.exe -W Bootcamp_1.scn

---

Let me know if the game starts. If not (or in any case?), send me your engine.log & error.log (if any) also.

Hi berto, I had memap, meedit and meorg - but no me.exe. I tried an update and this downloaded an me.exe - so now the game works fine!
Strange.

Should it happen again it might be that you have some kind of anti virus software that falsely identifies me.exe as a threat.

Yeah, I thought that somehow you were missing me.exe.
