The Decision Games forums have been down most of this year.
Anybody for a game?
I need to play a few scenarios to get my hand in again and then maybe play a campaign.

I'm really interested in this, I've been on the fence about buying it for a while, mainly because I didn't think I would ever find an opponent.
I'll look into it again.

I only play on the Pacific, but this site might help you to find players. Both board and computer versions...

Somehow I got banned from the site so haven't been in years. I did manage to get the update I think last year? I am interested. Would we play a 2 or 3 player game?

Joe 98, is this game similar to GMTs A World At War?

It is a computer version of SPI's War In Europe which consisted of War in the east and War in the West. No AI at all.

I have seen War in Europe and War in the East on boardgamegeek. I have not played either, but I own A World At War, another monster board game by GMT. Just want to know if they play similar as far as mechanics or if they are drastically different Twotribes.
Would you know by chance?

I don't own A World at War but I do have CWIE. After reviewing Boardgame Geek's info on World at War, I think I can definitely say that they are drastically different approaches. CWIE is really a pretty "dated" game in comparison. I haven't done much with it actually. MadGamer and I were going to play a game, but I think he lost interest in it as well. Frankly, I'd recommend Grigsby's War in the East and War in the West... much more "historical"... CWIE is pretty abstract with no unit ID on the bland counters.
Hope this helps.
