Multi monitor issue

Hi,

I was starting with Boot camp 1 on my main monitor and on my second monitor the manual.

But when I go with my mouse from the main screen with ME to the next with the pdf open every time the map jump to the right and every time the map must scroll back to the correct place. This is very irritating.

With memap there is a option "Auto Scroll", can there a similar option made for ME?

A other (minor) thing. ME runs only on the main monitor and cannot start or move to the secundary.

Harry

No hard promise about implementation, but I will look into it.

Yes, it is true that the frontend launches and remains stuck in monitor 1. But after it does the hand-off, the game engine and the editors are fully windowed apps that you can move around and reposition in your monitors at will.

Actually, now that you mention I have that on W10 as well. Can't move the game to second monitor. Edit: It can be moved, but it don't work there, seems to enter a loop of some sort.

I don't recall if I had this with earlier Windows versions though. My main monitor is with OLED backlight, while secondary is an old LED one, so I really don't use the second monitor much but for documents.

most errors with games regarding second and 3rd monitors are driver and windows issues and not game related, was going for a bigger led screen myself but was put off with the lack of support for the res and if i wanted to use the older one i have with it, so kept the money and bought a new m/b and cpu combo instead.

Philips 40" 3840x2160 VA 4K 60Hz Widescreen LED / IPS Monitor 3840x2160 Resolution to use with my 27"IPS LED LG model i own already

That would make sense for I don't recall having seen this earlier...

no the 40" was going to be the replacement, but got a over clocked m/b, cpu and memory bundle instead for same money
i7 Quad Core Processor Overclocked to 4.60GHz
16GB of 2400MHz DDR3 Memory (was going for DDR4, but changed me mind) and a ASUS m/b and liquid cooler

against a,

Intel Core i7 5930K 3.50GHz Haswell-E CPU With 6 Cores, 12 Threads and 15MB L3 Cache
32GB of TeamGroup Elite DDR4 PC4-19200C16 2400MHz Quad Channel Memory and again a ASUS m/b and liquid cooler

but decided to wait a while longer as there's aways something quicker out in the new year...[:D]

Thanks for doing this.

Together with the new "on-counter unit stats" and "Hex Outlines and Contours can now display concurrently" a nice starting point for this game.

I find with the new non Auto Scroll feature, using standard window sidebar controls to scroll around the map, map scrolling is actually faster that way.

This new map scrolling mechanism is a great boon to me as a developer. Using two monitors for game development, every time I would switch to the IDE and other development tools in other windows and in the right monitor, following the mouse movement, the map would scroll to the right, away from my area of map focus. Aggravating. Now, no more!

Thanks for the suggestion!
