Hmm...I figured out how to ASSIGN air to Luftwaffe airbases..but I seem to be unable to assign any aircraft to the German Army ones.

Specifically, I want to put some Recon aircraft from RESERVE into the 2nd Army AB...which starts empty.

I thought maybe I couldn't do it if the airbase moved, or if it wasn't close enough to supply..but it seems that none of my army ab's will allow me.

Is there a trick?

You need to assign them to a regular Luftwaffe airbase, then the following turn use air transfer mode to transfer them to Army bases.
