Hey, if this has been covered forgive me. But I did not see it in the threads I've read. My question is the Air Force present in the game outside of helicopters. Jet bombers and the like. If there is something could you direct me to the thread thanks.

The Air Forces are repesented by airstrikes.

You cannot fly planes on the map like helicopters, but can call in an airstrikes.

The bootcamp 2 video shows how they work.

Okay, what was rolling around in my head was watching the aircraft fly in and drop their bomb load. That's SPWAW I was thinking about.

The aircraft fly in, in 3D, get attached by anti-aircraft, then either drop their bombs, fire their rockets, then fly away.

The video shows an example of that.

Unless they are shot down, of course.

That video is one you have mentioned, right. I will go and watch the video action then.

This makes me think in the Vietnam game where cluster bombing was more extensive, several hexes should be hit during some tyes of air strike.
