I have blown the dust off my WiTE; have not played in a long while. I updated to latest patch and added the MapMod update for the map and symbols.

near the end of my first turn I was bringing some rail units up to begin repairs. I clicked the railroad damage button and found it does not show damage icons on map. If i mouse over a hex i see damage 100 but no icon.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this. Could it be the mapmod?

I did some quick searches and found no mention, excuse me if this is an old topic.

PS - I am assuming the damage is shown on the map the same it is shown on WiTW.

There is an old feature that you cannot have a hex selected when you enter rail damage mode, just press esc before. Also, don't have any other map feature enabled, only rail damage.

you are dead on, gingerbread. I had the rail unit selected.

I think i should dust off the manual too! thanks for the quick response.
