T02 Leningrad area

This will be my AAR, with the long waited 1.08.05. rules. I'm curious how will work this game with new rules, and I'll try some different way's to won this game.

After a standard T01 german open, my opponent's priority is Leningrad, and crossed the Pskov line. The 27th army fortify the Pskov-swamp area. The main defense will be the urban and swamp area, because the motorized units has huge penalty, and the german 16th and 18 army can't reach that area.

T02 Moscov area

Minsk remain on my hand, and the german infantry can't reach the frontline, before T04. So I have two full turn, before Pelton can try to cross the river. Right now this frontline is the less threatened, since elements of the 2nd ar 3rd panzer armies moved north, and south.

T02 South

Next turn will be mud, or the weather forecast says I have 75% chance for muddy week south russia, what is not a great deal on other fronts, but on south, the mud will slow the german efforts.

My defense is classic, based on river, and rough hexes. Pelton has 12-14 motorized division.

T02 Lvov pocket

The Lvov pocket stand and fight. What is a relative bad think for me. But I decide to fight, and with air supplies, the weak, regiment sized german troops can be beaten.
The northern pocket was reopened, and that is a great pain for german side. The infantry advance is blocked, and must be cleared the way, or secured.
The soviet troops, with air supplies, can fight with maximum CV strength on critical points.

Troops from Kovel, and lvov pocket attacked the german lines on west, and cause some rail damages on german territory, slowing the rail repair process. What is not a great deal, but fun to occupy german hexes is 1941.

Isolated units can break low defended pocket. But I'm affraid 40 morale based units can't act like two 55-60 strong unit. The german side will benefit more from isolation, and air supply.

T03 Moscov-Leningrad area

Massive retreat around Pskov. The soviet troops fall back to the Luga line, avoiding the german panzer attack, and close supply line. I'm curious how will slow the offense against Leningrad my early retreat, and will cause any supply storage, if the germans enter in non supplied area.

The Moscow front seems to be stabile, because only 6 german armor/mot division stand against the soviet army. The center infantry divisions will reach the frontline next turn, but lvl 2 fortifications will raise against them.

T03 South

Nothing special. The mud slow the german infantry advance, so this frontline will wait the german attack, and rivercross operation. However, the factory evacuation was delayed, and I gave Pelton an interesting option, to block numerous unevacuated factories. But need panzer units to block Kiev, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kirovograd, and other locations, spreaded around ukraine.
