Hello,

When starting command and selecting check for update, an update 1.09 is available. However, for some reason the update doesn't work. It doesn't get to download, saying an error occurred while opening an ftp file
Actually, the updater has never worked for me (been a command user since 1.04), but I have always used download links on the forum which worked fine...

So i have two questions...

1). Is a download link via the forum available?
2). Is this a known updater problem and can I do anything to solve this? Is this a firewall isue?

BTW, I am downloading NI at the moment, so this might contain the solution?

Northern Inferno includes the patch so you won't need it if you have that. I've asked for the patch link to be posted here but I don't have it myself. The size of the file is causing all sorts of headaches. It works fine for us but some people are having issues with the auto updater.

Over an hour into a three-plus hour download I got disconnected at the source. Re-establishing the connection required a start from scratch with another 197-minute download time. The last release candidate downloaded in less than five-minutes so not updating CMANO today is probably a good plan.

Hi, my game has been updated though steam, even if usually it doesn't, and now when I'm launching the game trough steam, when I want to load a scenario or anything, it tells me, "To perform the requested action, you need a liscence for C:MANO"

What should I do ?

We're investigating the steam issue. Everything works on our 2 machines we've tested it on after patching to 1.09, but we've had a number of reports of problems. Can you try verifying your files set to see if that helps.

Tried to verify the integrity of the game files with steam, but files were okay and the problem was still here.

Positive feedback: I purchased NI today through Matrix (not a Steam fan). It downloaded with v1.09 Final release in less than 10 minutes. Five more minutes to update on my PC and it has been working perfectly. Kudos for the fine product!

I tried to use the update utility in the autorun menu for CMANO twice without success as was disconnected at the source both times. Will try the CA mirror server and see what happens. Thanks.

Mirror download worked, update completed and found to be correct. Thanks to the entire team for their efforts.

Why does the built in updated not work?
I just keep getting could not connect to FTP issues. Glad I found this though.

I installed the update 1.09 and then I purchased the extension Northern Info, but it won't install! What now?

Inserted license key and then it says something about 'sharing violation'. Anyone?

Now, nothing works anymore! The downloaded file of Northern Info won't open because in use somewhere else? After a while it says that it couldn't start setup....[:@]
