In this scenario I've created a huge sea control zone for all of my ASW planes and surface warships to patrol. When an unknown surface or underwater contact is discovered, ALL of the units assigned to that zone stop what they're doing and make a bee-line for that unknown contact, even if they're hundreds of miles away. Is there any way to ensure that only a few of the closest units go over the investigate?

I have usually created smaller patrol zones to stop this sort of behavior.
