Last night I experienced my first CTD in SUDG. There I was coming up on this uber Frashkin scout attacking one of my friehgters and it makes some kind of short-range wave attack on the freighter and poof out I went to the desktop. After rebooting I was able to go back into my game without any data mismatches or other rude surprises, unlike some other new game I returned for a refund; HOI HOI.

I've fixed a few issues regarding crashes. If you have a saved file that reproduces one, email it to me as an attachment. (support@apezone.com).

Unfortunately I don't have a saved game file that reproduces the crash. Actually from my point of view it's thankfully I don't have one since that meant I was able to restore and resume my game. Thankfully I save early and often so lost very little game time.

I've had the game crash occasionally, too--always straight to the desktop, and always in the late stage of an intracate battle involving a world. I have always been able to reload the autosave file and rerun the battle--never crashes twice in a row (but there is enough randomness in the battle that the same issue may not crop up the second time around).

I have fixed a couple of crashes, one of them pertaining to battling cities. Even if you can't reproduce it, the autosave that lead to it may be helpful to me.

If I do have another CTD I will immediately zip up the saved game file and send it off to you. I didn't send the first one since i got through the first crash okay, but if it's possible that there is something useful in there you can spot to fix the CTD then I'll remember to send the file.
