I get the following message after I click on the ICON to play game: FPRS exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the Drive. Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisk\DR1.
I click on continue several times and then I can play the game. Is this normal?

Can you try rebooting and see if it helps. There is no disk so it doesn't make sense on so many levels!

I deleted game and then re-install with updates thru 2.09 and the games loads fine. Upload Germany Reforged and up date 2.0.10 and I get same error.

Floyd are now in first place with the weird-never-before-seen bug department. You get the error only after installing Germany Reforged? Are you Steam or Matrix version of the game? What is you OS? Are you Admin on the system?

Some folks have had luck updating Steam over top of their current build (possible file corruption in steam or a Steam/OS fight). Running as Admin to do the install has helped some too. If you can open task manager and look for multiple copies of either FPRS.exe or autorun.exe and let us know that would be helpful as well.

I have re-installed game with all updates. Game works fine. Install Germany Reforged and I get error message. As fair as I know I downloaded everything from Matrix. I will go back and check the items you listed. Thanks for the help

Forgot I am running windows 7 professional (I will have to check) and I am the administrator.

I am running windows 7 professional. I checked task manage and did not find any copies of FPRS.exe or autorun, hoped I look in the right place.

I checked the Flashpoint Campaign Red Storm files and found these items:

I deleted the game again. Reinstalled with all updates(not sure I needed them all). Redownloaded Germany Reforged and installed. Same issue. I am out of ideas.

Same problem here. Installed 2.10 and Reforged using the Reforged installer over a 2.09 install both purchased from Matrix. Getting the same error. I click four times or so and the game starts and plays. 64bit Win 7 Home Premium.

Can you two tell us if you have HP printers or any external hard drive on your systems? Thanks.

I have a HP Printer plugged in the computer via an USB port

Can you unplug the printer and retry the install after a reboot to see if the printer/driver is causing this drive issue. One of our guys on the dev team had a similar issue that we traced to the device. Could you also post your flashpoint.ini file for use to look at or PM me with it. We want to see if there is any strange drive entries.

I reinstalled after rebooting. Did a new download and the games works fine with 2.0.10 update. But when I try to install Germany forged, I get the same problem. Did not find flashpoint.ini file. Might be looking in wrong place. Also how would I attach the file? Sorry to keep brother you. Thanks for the helpf

Floyd, easiest way would be to send me a PM and just cut and paste the ini file info into the message.

Assuming you are using the Matrix version of the game, the ini file will be in the games main folder.

I have deleted game, reinstall basic game and all updates - game loads fine. Redown loaded Germany Reforged to day and same error appears. Only difference when I downloaded Germany Reforged was the game already had the key code.

Also I have my resolution set at 1600 x 900 and test size is set to medium. Also I have disconnected the printer from the tower and the printer is off.
