So how it looks with patch? Looking for it for PBEM game with Extreme fog of war ...

Looking good so far.

We should have it wrapped up and sent to Matrix/Slitherine by the end of the month.

I suspect it will be ready a week or two after that.

With the release to the Dev Team of today's 20151121 beta EXEs, a soft code freeze goes into effect.

Then, in the coming week, still more testing (including automated crash testing), final polishing, vetting the install package, etc.

We are still on track to wrap up ME 1.01 by ~ the end of November!

Is there a final features list for this patch 1.01 being wrapped up? The sneak peeks thread has a lot of discussion but just wondering what all made it in. Thanks.

We may have missed mentioning a few things, but what we revealed in the "sneak peeks" thread is pretty much it. There simply wasn't enough time to implement all the good ideas.

There are also data fixes, fixes for all known crash bugs, and many bug fixes involving helos & assaults.

Graphics improvements, both 2D & 3D.

And more.

Overall, ME 1.01 will be a much more polished release.

There will be an updated whatsnew.pdf included with the ME 1.01 patch. We might post it here sooner rather than later.
