Hi.

I downloaded the new patch and it seems to have installed.

But when I choose a scenario or the tutorial the games crashes.

The game worked fine before I updated it today (Nov. 19)

Any suggestions?

Download the directx 9,10,11 from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8109 and install them again. DOn't worry this leave the directx12 untouched, but should correct the problem.

Install which specific files? Download and open them where?

the exe download can be decompressed where you want (usually the temp dir is the default); enter in this directory and execute the setup exe, this will reinstall the old directx versions on your win10.

This did not work. My game keeps crashing.

It worked fine before I applied the patch.

Do I need to uninstall the game and reinstall?

I would like my game to work again please.

John reading the description of what you did on the ohter forum I think the problem is that you didn't complete the process of install:

1 - make the download -> this you did
2 - execute the exe downloaded (directx_Jun2010_redist.exe) -> this you did
3 - a little screen should appears asking yes or no -> give yes
4 -a this point a screen appears asking please type the location where you want to place the extracted files" : use the button browse and select a temporary directory, give ok
5 - after the extraction is completed go in this directory
6 - search the file DXSETUP.exe inside here
7 - execute it
8 - accept the contract and give always proceed when asked until the end of process

DirectX and the game are now updated and working.
