I made a purchase of Russo-German War on Wargamer .com some 2 months ago. Nothing arrived.
I sent an email to the company, no one answered.
I tried to call the company. The phone displayed in their website is wrong.
Thats fantastic. I mean, it was a very expensive game.
Beware of buying anything from them.
I am still waiting for some kind of feedback. Hope some company official reads this post.

Here comes Jim saving me again
Yes, it was on Schwehrpunkt, but on credit card orders I clicked on the The Wargamer link, and placed the order there.

If you purchased via the web and credit card you can call your credit card company and get it cancelled. Wargamer.com would have a "card not present" relationship with Amex/VISA/M-C

The Wargamer site was hacked two months ago. It took them a month to get it back online. Its possible that they never got your order.

I got a confirmation mail from them.
But unfortunately, i have the bad habit of delete confirmation stuff.
anyways....they confirmed it.
And what explain the fact that they dont return my complain email ?
Why is that that the phone on their website does not work properly ?

Don't know about that, maybe they hacked the # and nobody noticed?
Regardless, you will enjoy the game.
On another subject: Did you ever take Tobruk?
lol

CCB, if you like the feel and look of a board game on the PC, it's a keeper.
Map is huge, something like 868 victory cities and campaign game is 176 turns long.

Does it compare fairly well to SPI's War in the East then?

Well, I never got around to playing that one. It reminds me a little of Anzio with it's step losses, but with sooo much more detail, almost 3rd Reich like in what you are in command of. There are probably 8 different things you can do with your 3 types of aircraft in the air phase alone.
Multiple movement and combat in a turn, allocation of reserves from Hq units, rail hex conversion, it's got a lot to offer. Comes with 50 or so scenarios plus campaign game and even an editor to let you create your own.

Make sure that you DL and install the 6 , yes 6, patches sequentially to get the most out of this little gem. This company seems to really try to improve the product and they listen to what you have to say.

Hey, they're located in Pearland TX 77584. Don't have my TX atlas handy, how close is that to Dallas?
I'm in Wichita Falls. I might just try and drive down there and buy a couple of their games 'over the counter'.

Yahoo maps says it's down south of Houston , maybe a suburb. Pick me up a couple of pounds of shrimp if you head that way.
lol

On second thought, I think I just have them mail it. The last time I drove across Texas I darn near lost my sanity. :p

You won't be sorry. Don't be decieved by the simplicity of the design or components. The more you play it the more you will appeciate the subtle features of the game. These guys really stand by their product and answer email questions promptly. Probably the best "board wargame" made for the computer I've ever seen. Be sure and download the online manual and print it out. Lots of info on every aspect of the game.
