Stack Points

I could never find this in the previous two games. Is there a way to tell how many stack points are in a hex without looking up each units stack points and adding?

In DC Barbarossa that limit is 200.

I have the previous titles. Is this one that much better? It is a little tedious moving a lot of units!

I also have the previous two. Barbarossa has many mechanics that will be familiar, but at the same time it is quite different. It's much more of a juggling act of priorities and in spite of your best efforts, not everything will go as planned. I find that refreshing, but others who need to control every aspect of the fight and know everything will go as they intend might not like that aspect. Nowhere near as many units as the bigger Case Blue scenarios but still plenty to move. There are lots of impressions in the main forum and there are videos on Youtube that cover it better than I can here.

Is it better? Well I've only played about 10 turns so far as the Soviets so it's hard to say, but I'm having lots of fun and will certainly get my moneys worth out of it.

Edit - And I believe there is a way to turn off much of the "juggling" and have a more traditional wargame, but I can't see myself ever doing that.

I don't care for micro-managing. That's one reason War in the West doesn't appeal to me! I may give this one a try. It does sound interesting!

I'd urge you to watch some videos to get a feel for the level of micro-management. I'm fine with moving a hundred or more units each turn but you might not like that.
