Game compatibility question

I love this game, and have a chance to dedicate a device solely to this for travel. Can anyone tell me if this game will function on Microsoft Surface 2 running Windows RT 8.1? Admittedly, this isn't the latest and greatest tablet, but one is being cycled out of use for my wife's business and free is difficult to pass up.

** I should add that this tablet makes use of the Nvidia Tegra 4.

IIRC someone here has run CMANO with Surface 2. But if it's free there is nothing to lose :)

Very true. Just trying to find out the relevant facts to avoid a potential letdown.

I am almost 100% positive the game will _not_ run on Windows RT.

Sorry, I had a Surface RT and windows desktop programs would not work - only ones from their store would. Basically I used it for movies and office work.

It will not work on Windows RT, sorry. It would only work with the Pro versions of the Surface, running Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. I've run mine on both the Surface 2 Pro and Pro 3, works great, though the larger scenario's can bog down a bit, they will still keep crunching data though.

I haven't looked at the latest Surface 4, but I suspect Windows dropped RT, as it was not a very successful build. It had merit, but not enough to continue development. You may be able to trade in the RT for a Pro version....you won't be disappointed.
