8000 points... hilly and with more forests this time... My Brits attempting to redeem themselves against Viking's Germans

Opening salvos and smoke, recon spots nothing this time

Our recon met your recon and lots of shooting started! Motorcycles, jeeps, halftracks, scout cars! Ouch! - losses on both sides...

Viking's arty rains down onto our positions and his AT guns on the hills are firing down onto us...

we've spotted captured T-34s so far as well as some strange SP gun type thingy???

Our Brits (and a few Canadians) are on the move... :p

The Romainia equipment isn't preforming very well

Lots of halftrack fighting

heavy skirmishing in the far south and centre hill near the town... we kill several vehicles and send some infantry reeling back...

In the north we turn a set of vhs British...

so far it's mostly recon elements and light vehicles engaging each other but armor must not be far behind them...

Hellcat you guessed it, in the deep South I take my shots at the advancing SAS and run. Driving some back. At the Southern Vhexs large amounts of British infantry and AC have appeared as well as a Wasp, I killed the Wasp and two ACs I also called arty, my casualties next turn should be determinded on how well they rally, the arty call was ' Danger Close ":eek:

In the center all I could do was run, too many British tanks, the good ones. So I ran and called arty.

In the north Hellcat tok the Vhexs with light forces, I shot up his light forces and retook them, I expect him to do the same this turm.

we blow a couple of crews out of their tanks this round! Fighting is intensifying across the front... Viking's arty was in fact on target... we keep tickling and probing hoping for a breakthrough somewhere... maybe next round?:rolleyes:

One of my infantry squads get fried by sappers:mad: , they where on there way to the front. Those tanks thet blew my crews out of there tank had there tank blown away from the crews. My arty was on target again, I hread clanks and screams coming out of the woods in the south.



Back to you Hellcat

We make some progress in the North where we catch some special ops and SS in the open...

Fighting continues in the central woodlands, the hills and the southern sector without any real winners yet...

Arty is raining quite heavily now on both sides...

still no real tank fighting and very much an infantry affair... we're trying to clear Viking's forces off the heights...

Killed a couple Deacons and a Sherman, I lost a Panther because I was stupid, I hate it when I kill them even more than when HELLCAT does

Got another Panther and a whole bevy of halftracks(and one of those captured T34s too!) ... Fighting is getting nasty round all the hills... Viking has brought up some panthers and panzer IVs.

Am trying to make sure I can kill more of Viking's stuff than he can :p

if only my 17pounder AT guns could shoot straight!

Killed lots of tanks this turn, atleast one of every varity a couple of deacon, a cromwell a couple of Fireflys, a M16, Halftrack. the Seherman survived. I guess that was THE MIGHT OF THE M4!:rolleyes:

We destroy some more SS in the north, take out two AFVs and assault some more... Fighting and shelling now very heavy indeed! Not even time for a cup of tea

Two Firefly's get killed, one in the north and one in the south as well as a M16 and a halftrack, heavy infantry fighting in the north and south as well. AUX units have been spotted in several locations, I hope my out numbered Germans can hold;)

we take some ground this turn... in the North and Centre... two more T34s and a panther are destroyed! Although there seem to be plenty of enemy tanks still active

Casualties are mounting, on both side, killed to more deacons and a M16 and well as a M7 Priest, that as being used in direct fire mode

lol yes we're running short on tanks but that spg had it's gun blown out so went forward with it's mgs instead...

we seem to be gaining a little ground in the centre and the north but we're very worried about Viking's armor... there appears to be so much of it

we are at least managing to squueze off some shots at his ATGs
