Do the minor units have a dedicated country replacement pool as in DC2 or are they added from the German pool? Also, I wish that all the minor units had their own country color as in DC2. In DC3 only the Romanian units have their own color. I like that added flavor.

Hi stormbringer,
Yes, they have their own dedicated replacement pools.
Each minor country does indeed have it's own distinctive colour scheme - Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, Finns.
The Spanish Blau division, from memory, doesn't but they wore German uniforms anyway.
Cheers,
Cameron

Thanks for the reply. I forgot about the Finns. I saw that the 1st Hungarian Motorized Division which showed up in the 1st PanzerGruppe was the same color as the German units. It's still early in the game so perhaps the next Hungarian units will have their own color.
After playing some more I see that I was wrong about the Hungarian units. They do have a slightly different color than the German units. Sorry for my confusion.

I recieved Italian units that say motorized in their description. When I move them they function as leg units. Either they were sent to Russia without their transport and this is accurate or there is a small glitch. In a future patch I wish that the Hungarian and Italian units will be given the same color as in DC2. When I received my Italian units at first glance I thought they were SS units because the dark gray was so close to black.
I think that this is a great game!!

Hi Stormbringer,
The Hungarian units have a different colour scheme. Dark Green. Not the case in your game?
The Italian Motorised Div's are that way because that was their official nomenclature.
They had hardly any trucks and operated as straight infantry Divs but, I suspect, Italian pride stuck with 'motorised'.
Cheers,
Cameron

Thank you for your answers. My guess about the Italian Motorized Divisions was what you stated. My Hungarian units are a dark green but to my eyes they are close to the color of the German units. In DC2 they were sort of a bright yellow-green and stood out. The Italians were a dark green. I guess I just like the DC2 colors better. Anyways it's only eye candy.
Your support for this game is excellent. You have spent time time answering me about very, very minor things.

I believe they were officially classified as
'semi-motorised' and had enough trucks to move about 1/3 (or was it 1/4?) of their combat units at a time. All the Germans (or Hitler) saw (or understood) was the 'motorised' bit rather than the full title, and so they expected them to perform like German Motorised Infantry or Panzergrenadier Divisions ... and were, mildly, unhappy when they didn't.

(Read the first paragraph under
'Eastern Front')
The 9th Motorised was similarly 'semi' motorised' as well and served on the Eastern Front.
There were other 'semi-motorised' divisions, but they served in North Africa or remained in Italy or Southern France.
