I have windows 7.
The game menu opens but when I click start game nothing happens.
I had to upload the error report because I keep getting a message about uploading links.

You should be asked about XNA after install, you appear to have some issues with that part. Try run the installer, or look for xnafx40_redist.msi in the redist folder inside the Distant Worlds one.

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Graphics

once XNA has been installed as mentioned above, game should work fine, just remember to update to the latest version as well
