Frederic Genot has made a wonderful set of logisitics icons that I can't recommend strongly enough.


They can be found on Vic's website, and I'm posting the link here:

To download the mod you'll have to register at the Scenario Bank. I hope that the author of this mod will eventually post something about it here and include a few in-game screenshots.


In the meantime the big thing that the mod does is to improve the rather peculiar ship profile supply line images that are prominently on display when you turn the supply filter on. And if you look more closely you'll see that the mod adds some really nice touches to the supply depot and forward supply base graphics.


There's a picture of the new icons at the scenario bank website, but to understand how nice this mod really is you have to see it in game.

Note that the graphic symbol for a main depot is a set of oil drums. The symbol for the forward supply base is a jerry can (not shown).

Just to be clear, this is not my mod. It was made by Frederic Genot but has been woefully under-publicized.


I'm hoping he comes along soon and talks about it, in any language (if he uses French, I can translate).

just substitute advancedtactics.org with vrdesigns.net ... that should do the trick

The link became outdated after the merger of Vic's sites.

It has been updated and is now working.

The original set of logisitics textures did not include the set that appears when the map is fully zoomed out. I posted a small mod compendium of useful mods like this one, but when I realized that those textures had never been made, I modded the mod and added them in.
