Renaming pic files

Since I upgraded to Win10 from Win7, I no longer have the ability to rename files, (.jpeg to .jpg is one example)..
I forgot which switch had to be marked on my computer.Help?..

One easy way is when you have File Explorer open, click on "View" to see the ribbon menu across the top (that's what they call, doesn't look like a ribbon at all does it?) and look for the check box "File name extensions" and check it.

That did it!!!!Been a long time since I have had to do that...

Just don't go looking for the "Grow more hair" check box. They removed it in Windows 10. You should have used it before you upgraded! [:D]

Yeah, and I used to be able to kill giants, they all just look like windmills now.

Here's one of those darn things, it's a couple miles from my house. Used to hop. Now it just sits there, dead.

Looks like they don't know where to get canvas to replace the sails on the blades ...
Maybe you could direct them to HMS Victory in Southampton!
