Not sure if this is WAD?

SS Wiking suffered mechanical failures but is on Refit and hence hadn't moved etc. Should mechanical failures be allowed for units under refit?

Cameron will get back to you on this one after the merry season. I think you could argue either way as some equipment that already had a rough time might finally collapse even at rest or on inspection.

Hi Speedy,

Mech failure is based on the units action during the previous turn.

If this is the first turn of it's refit it could still get hit if it moved the previous turn.

Either way it doesn't affect the end result.
