Matrix Games Forums

Has anyone ever had an issue receiving email notifications from the forum? This started yesterday morning. What I have done so far is;
1. Checked my spam settings, which are fine and no matrix emails are in that folder.
2. Checked my profile settings, which are fine.
3. I posted a test in a test thread i'm in and there posts do not respond either.

Is it possible I was Red Buttoned by someone? I do have a Suspect. We can pounce on him later if it was him.[:D][:D][:D]. No, I will simply have someone deal with the pain in the A##.

If anyone has any ideas, please post and I will check back. Thanks gents. And Happy Holidays to you all....GP

Not sure.

You should raise this in the Matrix General Discussion thread.  That is where the matrix employees, in particular Iain McNeil hang out.  Over there they have had two threads in the last months where the opposite situation applied.  Maybe in fixing that they introduced your problem.

Well no. On one of the other forums I help out on, there is one poster who does nothing but bad mouth the developers and beta testers. So I asked him to behave and if he has any issues we are here to help. Well he got belligerent. The forum responded....GP

When I discovered the problem I wrote several people within Matrix and Slitherin, but I think they had already shut down for the holiday. I just entered a trouble ticket with tech support too. From the error message it looks like a process on their Windows server crashed and the server probably needs to be rebooted.

I find this one rather annoying, I use the subscription feature quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure it is.

Servers are probably back to work, at least partially. I get notified for new threads but not for updated threads (yet).

Bill, As of 12:43AM eastern I started receiving emails again.

Denniss, My notifications were for existing threads....GP

Servers seem to work now, all notifications arrive.

I got a message back from tech support that they were looking into it followed by messages trickling in about 20 minutes later.

I'm having a bug problem with the member profile page. Since I first started clicking the Newest 50and Newest 100 searches never worked and I never complained about it. Am I doing something wrong?
