I am experimenting with this and it works with other windows95,98-xp games before UAC permissions came out on vista and on wards. Don't know if this helps but I have unchecked read-only in the main matrix folder and all matrix cc games exe files. I also put check marks in the boxes for user ALLOW ALL permissions to be full under security.

Having everything checked to ALLOW for user, I am seeing if this will solve some problems now that the player has full permissions to everything read write and execute in the game.

Hi vobbnobb - What problem were you trying to solve? I think this message may have been meant for another thread?

There is no problem just seeing if I do this if it has an different effects on the game play. I have tried this with success with older game engines that came out before vista with total success. It may delete some errors or bugs some people have.
