I been playing this game now for over 300 hand I loving it. Just want to share my opinion that the game is a real gem and hoping that it still getting love from the devs.
Will there be a random starter where some of the game choises is roman,napoleonic, american civil war, modern etc when the game is setup? Not just forced to use premade scenarios. Sorry for my bad translation. (from swedish)

Agreed! In my opinion this game is a classic in the hex based IGOUGO class of wargames. It has the best random game creation engine I've seen in my long wargaming experience. I certainly hope there is a planned AT Platinum and that it goes into development sometime this year. ATG will be five years old come spring 2016. Vic has kept the game fresh over the years by adding Officers, Tank modeling and most recently the TO&E feature (fantastic feature!) but it is time for a new leap forward.

I had a mod for the original AT that included Napoleonic and Ancient (Roman)units - is this still available for ATG - or are the period options already available?

ATG has the ability to be a universal wargame system if it can cover more periods than those with tanks.

Everything that worked in the original AT works in ATG.

Just to echo some of the sentiments to say that ATG really is a phenomenal game.
I always relate it to an type of upside down Civilization game.
What i mean by this is its very in depth simulation of war while being very light on empire building ect.
Would love to see Vic add to the empire building side, Civilization style
