Mostly in fun but also with substance a question.
Has anyone found a reliable way to keep this guy out of the terrible relations category without sacrificing all the other allocations of AP's? I give him trucks, vacations, bash Gercke and so on but the guy stays steadfastly grumpy and greedy.
In RL, could Halder have had this guy fired?

Hi wardortch,
A lot of logistical related decisions are binary - you're having to choose between the best interests of Generals Gerkce (trains) or Wagner (trucks).
The Germans, in their wisdom, put two guys in charge of something that should have been empowered to one. It worked out as well as you'd expect.
You aren't ever going to keep them both happy but you there are a couple of strategies you could follow.
Aim to upset them both equally. It'll minimise the pain.
Or keep the guy that's most important to you happy - this is going to vary depending on what transport links you are relying on the most, probably trucks at the start and trains later on.
Alternatively you could express your sympathy. They've both got very tough, almost impossible, jobs and kind thoughts go a long way.
Cheers,
Cameron

i read Speer's 'Inside the Third Reich' 15 years ago (good read) and he specifically states that Hitler deliberately made different ministries with overlapping responsibilities so that they would be too busy fighting with each other to bother or challenge Hitler. it was a way of reducing everybody's power to increase Hitler's own power
