If you have Netflix, you can watch it and worth watching it.

Seen previews on some others, wanted to see seventh son with jeff bridges in it. So I ordered one from amazon plus Mad Max fury road.

Also wanted to see The Martian with matt damon in it, it suppose to be related to the real Mar planning expedition, but got rejected several times by the government.
So this underground story of that movie is very interesting...

The Martian was imo the most boring film of 2016, not a great film at all, again all hype with no real movie in there.

Jupiter Ascending and Interstellar were better

Ah sorry to hear that, was told and seen Jupiter Ascending, others didn't like it, didn't care for it. But Interstellar look interesting too. Too much silly stuffs can ruin the movies or shows, guess it is not easy to find good actors, actress as well director these days.

some may like it, others will say it's boring, i just found the story was not well done, acting was so so, and tbh not that believable in some parts, and seemed to be stretched out, if bored and raining it's something better than nothing and it was on TV then ok, but for me not to pay money for, there's much better free stuff imo that's well more entertaining

Cool, I knew Ridley Scott made some good movies, I am sure this one isn't suppose to be about critters or aliens involved. So just have to imagine on how to survive in that situations. Kinda like remind me of Mission to Mars, but didn't like the end parts where the alien or that spot where the ship is located.

To each his own.

I really enjoyed the Martian, and my wife did too. Not every movie works for both of us.

Gotta say they did a great job on the movie The Martian, the only hard parts is that he turns his back so you can see his skinny arms, the face however didn't really change much. But still great movie, not really suppose to be about aliens, but to survive. Not be able to eat well, will get you out of shape and weak and lucky he figure out a way to grow foods. My question is, how do you think it would react to Mar's soil if you add waters to it? Is it safe or biohazard?

Same here, we bought and watched The Martian yesterday and found it amazing. We were not bored at all and, in fact, thought Matt Damon did very well carrying a bulk of the movie by himself.

If I watch the Martian, can I pull for Mars?

My favorite part is that he was trying to produce waters and thing blew, second try, he dress up some kinda of super hero lol.
