Air resupply

I used the AGN air resupply card for the 4th PG as they were out of fuel. The book says that the HQ will get the fuel immediately The 4th HQ is 10 hexes from Tilsit (airbase) and on a rail line with no Soviet ZOCs near it. Yet I didn't get any fuel. Started with 0 and remained at zero. As they could only fly in 1600 BBLs of fuel, and the 4th PG is in Blitz mode, does that mean the 1600 BBLs went to cover the 2000 that wasn't subtracted as they were at 0?
This wasn't spelled out in the rules. And what did the 1600 BBLs do for the PG as they still can't move (like pull back)?

What was the weather?
Was your Panzergruppe HQ outside the range of your Luftflotten?

If you did the drop at the end of your turn, then yes, it is likely that it was consumed as part of the 2000 bbl Blitz cost the next turn.

Are you friend with Goring ?
Page 77:
"The prime effect of your relationship
with Göring is that if it’s negative,
’poor’(<-9) or worse, the cost, in PP,
of all Luftwaffe Action Cards will
increase. The worse your relationship,
the greater the cost increase.
Resupply and TAC cards are
affected."

Did air drop to start turn. I thought air drop could reach 10 hexes from air base to 4th PG HQ. Good relations with Goering, and card was available (3 pp). Weather has been clear (Fine) so far, no mud. When I had no fuel went to check that I played card and it was gone, so I assume I used it correctly.

Hi baloo,
Any fuel from drops would appear in your fuel gauge (top bar) as immediately usable fuel.
The pop-up message that appears when you play the card would tell you how much fuel arrived.
The following turn's relevant Daily Log, the fuel report at the top of the Staff report and the relevant Logistical report will all give you and idea of what happened.
If you've airdropped fuel in and didn't use it then the following turn it may well have been consumed trying to accommodate the blitzkrieg bonus.
Cheers,
Cameron

Thanks guys and Cameron. I will wait for my next turn as it is my opponents now. I'll check the reports to see what happened. The pop up message did occur stating that 1600 BBLs were what could be supplied I think (or maybe it said delivered). If I did everything correctly, I should have been able to use the fuel drop to move some mobile units to better positions, but I wasn't. I thought of something else, since I moved the FSB last turn, and it was still moving on this turn, could that have affected the air drop?

Hi baloo,
Nope, shouldn't affect it.
4th PG HQ was in the Northern theatre at the time?
Cheers,
Cameron

4th PG HQ was in Daugavpils.
Just got my next PBEM turn, and will see if it gives me any insight on where my air resupply went.

Hi baloo,
Running out fuel is awkward but running out of ammunition is terminal.
The Luftwaffe enjoyed the outing.

Cameron
