18th turn, 1st mud turn, suddenly all units from German south front become isolated. Is it a bug or feature.
Playing with last beta patch, Barbarossa scenario.

I guess your working railhead is too far west, and units are now more than 100 MP from it.

Not at all, HQ are all less than 25 hexes from railhead.
There is nothing different between south/north or central front

There are two limits that must be satisfied: 25 hexes AND 100 MP. With mud costs to move increase a lot and will easily exceed 100 MP after 15-20 hexes.
I guess you didn't use FBD unit to manually repair most important rail lines or didn't focus enough on the south. You have four of these units.

Unit are 4 hexes from HQ
HQ is less than 100 mp (89)to rail
But unit is 108 from railhead.
Normally my unit must be in supply is n't it?

For unit-HQ link I think the limit is 5 hexes AND 20 MP (or 25 MP). Both limits must be satisfied. In such rare case where HQ is in range to rail, and unit in range to HQ but not in HQ-like range to rail it will be isolated, even though it should get some supplies during logistics phase. All units more than 100MP from rail are marked as such.
I had one such unit in my current PBEM when mud hit.

is it 20mp or 25 from hq??
do you mean unit in range to a supplied hq but at more than 100MP would be isolate?
by the way I take care of FBD but stalingrad/voronezh are far away[:)]

other question, all the german unit(isolate or not) have their attack factor divide by 10, is it normal?

20MP

Yes, supply chain is like this:
Rail -> 25/100 -> HQ -> 5/20 -> Unit
or
Rail -> 25/100 -> Unit (for units not in range to their HQ, but this way combat units can only get half of needs)
On the other hand units are isolated if more than 100MP from rail (without hex range requirement).
by the way I take care of FBD but stalingrad/voronezh are far away
You simply outdid the Germans and outrun your supply system, that's the ultimate limiting factor on how far you can advance in 1941.

No, but they have some construction units that should operate automatically (but for me they don't, so I sent an FBD there when it was freed from main front)

I guess this is mud effect, and it divides attack factor by 8 actually. Mud is not a good time to attack.

@morvael: Poor baby!
"No, but they have some construction units that should operate automatically (but for me they don't, so I sent an FBD there when it was freed from main front)"
What am I doing right? Never seen this in different scenarios and campaigns. Sending an FBD for Finns is quite a gift.

Thank for clarification. Look like the Barbarossa scenario is not easy at all for the German. Just loosing despite better results than historically
