This thread will be dedicated to the problems the scenario I am currently trying to build, along with Matti.

The Finnish winter war scenario is getting close to something that is playable. Matti, my finnish partner, has a couple of questions, regarding stuff in our scenario. I will list those I could not answer, for you here:
- Fortifications and light fortifications do not increase entrenchment levels. (various snow type landscapes).
- Ski Infantry has very high movement rate.
- For some reason different fighters won't got into the finnish airforce units. They start out with Fokker DXXI and later would want to get for instance MS 406s.
- Fighters have a very high range. Is it possible to tone down these. (scale type is 0)
- Snow Marsh allows for truck movement, which non-snow does not. Matti would like that they either don't allow it, or we need to change some stuff into forrests.
- Despite being somewhat of a wilderness in Finland at this time, movement rates are somewhat high on foot. Matti reports that foot movement should be around 20 km not 40 km. Motorized movement in non road hexes should be almost impossible writes Matti.
- Matti would like a command and control penalty system to hit the soviets. (random loss of 0-60 AP) and asks me if possible to do. I told him that I could, but it would require the advanced editor.

Thanks for moving this to the forums.
Version 0.80c is coming up very soon. It includes an updated ruleset masterfile and a new version of the VR Basic Event library.
- Fortifications and light fortifications do not increase entrenchment levels. (various snow type landscapes).
=> will be fixed with the new masterfile

=> need your 2 troop libraries to retrace your steps and see whats wrong

=> will be customizable

I would like the ability to set a regimes fuel levels at the start of the game. At the moment they start out with -1, and get whatever you have assigned in the fuel tables.

@claus,
Thanks for sending the troopType libs. I couldn't repeat the behaviour. Reloading the Fin trooptype library restored the reinf.types and kept the soviet ones intact as well. reloading the soviets ones didn't cause the fins to lose theirs.
We'll have to figure out how you did what you did for the next patch. (i am interested in a repeatable procedure)
Added info on the reinf.type of a troopType in the library tab of the simple editor to better double check if all is ok.

Seems fair to me. Wonder why I didnt allow for it in the first place.
