Movement

It's probably just me, but the way movement range is displayed seems slightly confusing. The white dots don't seem to display "reachable hexes", but rather "maximum range", probably dependent on unit type and "best terrain".

For example, in the video tutorial, moving a unit thru the wheat field, initially the displayed range (White dots)is 5 hexes, but the unit can only move 3 hexes because of the wheat field terrain. I don't know for sure, but can that unit move 5 hexes? Why not display only those hexes that are reachable?

Would it be possible to dynamically display reachable hexes? That is, the reachable hexes reflect the current available movement points. As you move a unit the dots would "shrink" as movement points are used. Currently the display always shows the initial movement point range.

Peter,

Thanks for the timely response. So the white dots represent weapon's range. My bad, I assumed they represented movement range. Therefore, there is no indication / display of movement range?

Correct...only the adjacent hex.
