When I try to "Check for Update", I get:
"Failed to load update data file-possible client/data version mismatch.

I checked for update earlier and was promptly directed to update to the most recent version. after completing the download I ran the "check for update" again and now i only get the message posted above.

Any suggestions to someone who is computer illiterate on how to fix this?

What version of the game are you using?

There's probably an easier way (I hope someone will chime in), but have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

I am using V1.08.07
When I loaded the game just now to find the version, I tried again to check for update and "VOILA", as if by magic, it ran perfectly, checking and confirming I had the most recent version downloaded. I cannot explain it because for the last 48 hours it would not do so. I am just happy and relieved that it is working now as it is supposed to.
