Editing ongoing games

I read somewhere that you can edit games in progress. I looked everywhere I could think of to find this edit ability.
I am designing a scenario that has many different things happening...If I find an error and correct it, I must play the game from the start to test it instead
of from a saved version. This isn't a problem for events that happen in the first few months but becomes a major hurdle when the event happens well after
the start of the game...like a year or MORE.

Your scenario file must be marked 'loadable=true' in order to load a same game.

Thanks, did not see that last line that said imports and other settings.

There are a few things that make this option less desirable (mostly to prevent cheating). These things mainly concern the rounds that have passed, as they will reset, as well as the date will reset. Just be aware of that. It may cause troubles.

Date reset? Exactly what happens to the date? Many of my events rely on the date for activation.

I would suggest that you backup the savegame file before loading it then test what happens when you load the original.
