Resolution issues with Windows 10

I've recently upgraded to a new laptop with Windows 10, my monitor is 13.3' 3200x2800 and I've come across some issues with my resolution.

I've looked through the forum and I saw another thread that suggested to disable display scaling on high DPI settings and run Command as an administrator, I did so but when I run command.exe I get a pop up saying "It appears you are running Command in Steam mode, but the Steam client does not appear to be running. Please ensure the steam client is running before starting Command. The game will now exit."

This pop up happens even when I have steam running. Is there a way to get Command to run without going through steam? Or is there another solution to my problem

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some screenshots showing what I'm experiencing.

I've tried messing around with the display setting, from 100% to 200% and in between, but there was no change.

Hmm, these screenshots make it look like my display setting are cranked up, which they are since they're at 200%, but if it was lower it'd be extremely difficult to read. I'm assuming that's why they have the "disable scaling" setting, which I can't change.

Command only supports 100% and 125% text scaling. The support for 125% scaling has been improved in v1.11.

It wouldn't work when I tried it before but when I tried changing the scaling again and this happened.
