Can one design modern era scenarios with this or is this mainly a WW2 editor/game. If one can then how do you use other images such as photo's without having the background terrain show. Thanks

The trooptype illustrations are rendered OVER the landscape illustrations.
So if you make a non-transparent troopType illustration you'll never see the landscape illustration.

What kind of sounds? move/attack sfx? What sound format are you using? Can you show a screenshot of the trooptype lib?
If you add sound or music files it would be ideal if you add them under the communitysound directory in a seperate directory. like for example 'communitysound/mysounddirectory/
Please give some more info.

the sounds are for movement, infantry attack and tanks. I made a folder called " sound" and placed it in the communitysound directory, then in the troop editor i made the unit, and chose my directory but no sound. So I just copied what sounds I wanted and placed them in the community directory. Thanks

how hard is it too make roundels for regimes as I'm attempting this myself but I'm not the best. Is there a video or something or someone who can guide me in the right direction.

What nations roundels do you want? It takes some time to do, to make it look good, but I wouldn't exactly call it hard.

how does one make allied unis using the simple editor

Well there is only 2 regimes allowed currently. So any allied units would have to be distinguished by their counter graphics or counter colors.
Not to hard to do and especially the historical editor provides ample space for doing both of these things.

You need to provide me a bit more information for me to help here.
Probably best if you send me over your scenario.DCX file and you officer library. I'll try loading it and see why it happens.
No problem doing this. It will help me understand what parts of the current setup are inintuitive.
best wishes,
Vic

Hi Lion,
You know you can go to => Libraries => Click Basic Event library to get help information in the bottom? its the 'weather' tab. It will telll you that putting the weatherDelta at 50 or higher will cause you to never have snow.

Hi Lion,
Your officers just load fine. Maybe you misquoted your problem and it said you had a 'dependency' problem?
If thats the case, please read the remainder of the text below it and do first import the officercards library from the VR_official_libraries directory.
Best wishes,
Vic
