Vierville Scenario

Thanks for posting Ed. There is something lovely about these 5-turnish small infantry-only encounters. So many of today's tactical systems involve huge scenarios, as in CM where scenarios could be 60 turns and have a large OOB. So happy to have TotH and all these nice scenarios.

Looking at the American firepower I was crying out for multi-hex firegroups!

Thanks to Peter and Jorgen for the game!!

Your Welcome Gerry!
Part of what I like about these smaller scenarios is the importance of each shot. One bad result can flip the momentum instantly. One squad breaks on one side of the building and you feel the angst to safely rout unit away and find a squad, half squad to fill the hole.
This is what I remember about ASL. Lucky or unlucky rolls.
Hopefully we will see improvements to the AI as the game matures. I'm seeing AI squads firing in the open street at distant targets in fire phase right next to a untaken building objective and then getting blasted on defensive fire.
If we do see AI improvements at some point, it just means all these scenarios being designed will be a blast (no pun intended) to play over again.

Same here. An enemy squad spend most of its time in open ground next to a stone building. And in a few cases the enemy didn't walk in to take an unoccupied victory location. If I play it again I will make sure to verify the enemy was not pinned but I don't think it was.

Still lots of fun with lovely counters on a lovely map. Thanks again.

P.S. I cannot keep up with all the new stuff and all the stock scenarios!
