Why is this 5-3 soviet infantry in supply?

(Stalino is in German's hands and the 5-3 is stacked with another, disorganized, infantry)

By sea to Sevastopol as long as you are playing basic supply rules.

Don't you need a convoy in the sea for that?

All depend of the optional rule you have taken

Not on my computre so i can't check but

1-basic no need
2-oversea CP/TRS or AMPH (not sure)
3-ITPOTE have an effect also (not sure)

Thanks, yeah, makes sense. I have reread the rules again, and I've seen that the need of a convoy is only when using SiF option 11 (limited overseas supply) as paulderynck answered.

For some reason I remembered it as the basic supply rules.

I planned everything in advance, I'm a genius of military strategy.
