A question about mods and future updates/expansions

Hi

I am no modder, but I have a question, for Peter or anyone else who knows the answer: since all graphic elements in this game are all contained in one single png file (a very strange design decision, IMHO), I think this means that if in the future some expansions are made - for example, new units (eg, Italians, or some missing units from current nations) or new terrain types (eg, snow), a completely new terrain.png file will have to be made for the game.

In that case, all current Mods (ASL counters, etc) will become obsolete and unusable and will have to be made from scratch again...[X(]

Am I correct ?

Regards

When new nationalities/ features will be added I will not move existing sprites, at least I will try to avoid it but nithing is for certain in this world we live in. So there is a possibility that the mods will need to be updated as well.

Right,if new nationalitis or features are added we can add the new sprite to the existing mod without redo all the mod.
